  • What video and image formats does StratosMedia support?
    • StratosMedia supports the following video and image formats: Images: JPG, PNG, SVG, GIF/Videos: MP4, WEBM, MKV, AVI, MOV/Audio: MP3, WAV

  • Is it hard to change content?
    • Changing content on StratosMedia is easy and fast. StratosMedia is cloud based, so as long as you have internet connectivity and access to the Chrome browser you can change anything, anytime, anywhere.

  • Do I need a fast internet connection for my media players?
    • No, you don’t need a fast internet connection for your media players on StratosMedia. StratosMedia stores content locally on your device for playback. This means that your display is not reliant on your internet connection speed. If you do have a slower speed connection, you would of course expect that to affect the time taken for new content to download. But once downloaded, new content will commence playback locally.

  • Does StratosMedia use much data?
    • StratosMedia uses very little data data. This is because StratosMedia is not a streaming product and all content scheduled for playback is stored locally on the playback device. In this manner, StratosMedia utilizes the bare minimum of data whilst allowing you to deliver broadcast quality visuals anywhere, anytime.

  • Do all of my media player devices need to be on the same IT Network?
    • With StratosMedia, your media players don’t need to be on the same IT network. Content may be delivered to any StratosMedia playback device that is connected to the internet without any further network configuration.

  • What Media Players does StratosMedia work on?
    • StratosMedia is cross platform, currently running on ChromeOS, Windows, OS X and StratosOS. We are working on expanding to other platforms so please feel free to contact us for more information.
